Hello,

I was wondering if there is any script already available to be used with PragmaMX that would allow the automatic changes of pictures on the website (image slideshow). Found a script (for joomla) that is called "JSN ImageShow". (ref. http://www.cocut.cn/jstuff/jtemplate/226-jsn-imageshow-pro-v105-download-.html)

This is the kind of script that I was wondering could also be implemented into a pragmaMX site.

Woulb be glad for any assistance give.

To clarify a little. I have seached this forum for "slideshow" and found much info. But what I failed to explain was that I was looking for an substitute for the images that is located here: http://www.pragmamx.org/themes/pragmamx/images/header/defaultphoto.jpg - thus the header images for the theme.

Also, I am not a coder, just an tinkerer so any assistance is really appreciated.

hello edward

take a look at my pmx test site: http://pragmatest.martin-beurskens.eu/index.php

is it that, what you like? if it is, than you can use every slideshow software you'll find at the web. the only thing you have to do after you've configurated the slideshow, is to insert the given code into the header of the template and to place the pictures in the right folder.

i'm used for the slideshow on my testside comercial software. íf you want to knew, what it is, you can contact me by pm.

kind regards

Looks very nice and not expensive either..

It it easy to implement the frontpageslideshow into pragmaMX? In respect to coding the current template the site is using?

hello edward

as i told you in the pm the program i use create a flash file and an html file of the pictures. it is very simple to place it into a website. there is no javascript or other code. upload the 2 files to you webspace, include the flash file where you want and it works.

if you like, you can place it also in any content. upload the files into the media/flash folder and you can place the flash file into the content by using the spaw editor.

have fun

Yup,

Starting to get the hang of it.. Take some time as I am no coder.

Saying that I must say also that pragmaMX is just great. Alass, no natinal language for my country yet and when upgrading the core its always much work checking all features that needs to be fixed. But I guess thats part of the fun..
