Crypt letters or the forum offers me downloads?

When I enter my forum all I can see is a lot of letter-spam OR sometimes the forum also offers me a download an show me nothing?
What´s going on?

Than you might have activated the gzip-compression under "Control Panel -> Settings" on a newer nuke-cms.
Nuke do so by itself already, so if you activate it a second time in the forum, you get a dubble-compression an no browser can handle this.

To fix it:

• Get the file "modules/eBoard/settings.php" with your ftp program
• Open it with an editor and change the value of $gzipcompress = "on" to $gzipcompress = "off".
• Upload the modified file with your ftp program and overwrite the old one.
